Vision Statement

Navigating through civilian life after the military can be difficult, leading to confusion, stress and feeling disconnected from the community. Many veterans lack immediate assistance. The organization has identified homelessness, food insecurity, inability to pay basic utilities and mental health as a major stressor that affects veteran’s psychological and physical health. Our vision is to provide immediate help and temporary relief while directing veterans to sustainable and lasting solutions.  STAIVA is "NOT" exclusive to Afghanistan and Iraq Veterans, we assist veterans from all eras with all types of discharges.
